Sometimes I do actually get to hike beyond the PNW (Pacific Northwest) and it affords me the opportunity to contrast my lovely blue and green landscapes with what else the United States of America has to offer. The arid Southwest with its hoodoos and desert flowers to Colorado’s lodgepole pines and 14r’s to California desert, I hope to continue to explore more of my country’s stunning scenery by foot. And appreciate my own backyard all the more.
Find out current conditions and as always, practice Leave No Trace. Pretty please.
