Back in February, on President’s Day Weekend, we had the blessing of a few days with the kids to enjoy some time outdoors. Unfortunately, the avalanche risk was high so our options for playing in the snow were limited. We decided to head up Snoqualmie Pass and revisit the slope I scrambled 6 weeks after crushing my shoulder so I could complete my Mountaineers course. It turned out to be the perfect day and the clouds parted just enough to give us views of the surrounding peaks, including the regal Garfield Mountain.
