Editor’s note: Glorybucha is now located outside the town of Snohomish, close to Lord Hill Regional Park. They are sharing taps with Dairyland Brewing!
I just have to let you in on my latest post-hike treat in the small town of Arlington, Washington! It is perfectly located for treks on the Mountain Loop Highway or North Cascades Highway (SR 20) and the ideal place to quench your thirst and treat yourself after miles in the mountains.
Located in downtown Arlington a few blocks off SR 9 that runs from Canada to Woodinville, this kombucha brewery has been open since January of 2018 providing quality beverages and a unique experience to those in the area as the first kombucha microbrewery in Snohomish County.
If you get excited about microbreweries, you’ll love our brewery! We are one of the first local kombucha microbreweries to use a state of the art brewing system that has been configured specifically for kombucha to ensure that every sip is consistently delicious! -Glorybucha
They boast of a special brewing process that allows their booch to be very low sugar and low yeast, important for many watching their health. I drink a lot of kombucha (and make my own) and can testify that theirs is dry and crisp, not overly fruity or sweet.
The tasting room is cheerfully decorated and soft jazz plays softly as you pick up your growlers to-go or sit at a table and enjoy a flight of your favorite flavors. It can be hard to decide just four, so make sure you bring at least one other friend so you can each savor a variety of flavors!
They offer their brew in bottles that you can pay a bit extra for upfront but upon return, refilling costs the same as a regular plastic to-go cup. And if you refill six or a growler, there is an additional discount. Don’t forget to get a Glorybucha punch card!
I now have a habit of stopping by there post-almost-anything now. I picked up a few bottles after my nearby Squire Creek Trail adventure and after a bike ride with my husband.
The Centennial Trail that runs 37.5 miles from Snohomish, WA, to Arlington literally takes you past Glorybucha and you have no reason not to stop in and give them a try. Don’t worry, you don’t have to do the whole trail to get here. There are multiple trailheads along the way.
Our very first visit was after doing 10 miles on the trail (and then another 10 to get back to the car) on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I maybe carried some home with me…
Glorybucha has been popping up at local farmer’s markets and other community events as they spread their tasty beverages throughout the county. They have even added summer SMOOTHIES to their line up! I’ve tried the Berry and Strawberry versions so far.
Be sure to follow them on Facebook to find out about their latest happenings and where they will be next. And if you are up in the area for an outdoor adventure, make sure and stop in for a glorious healthy drink!
Glorybucha is located at 116 East 5th Street, Arlington, WA, just a few blocks from the intersection of SR 530 and SR 9. Their phone is 360-363-4174 and they have varying hours roughly 11am to 7pm, closed on Mondays.
