Okay, this is a shameless plug for trail work on the Pacific Crest Trail. Have you thought about doing some trail maintenance this year but aren’t sure where to start? Feeling a little intimated? It was just a year ago that I did and a friend talked me into coming to the trail skills college put on by the North 350 Blades in Darrington, WA. It was the perfect way to meet people in a low key environment and take classes where everyone is learning just like you are. Come out and join me May 20-21 and see what it is all about. You’ve read about how much fun I am having and how meaningful it is to give back to trails.
