I remember the first time we met, Beckler Peak and I. She was a little shy…
I remember having been the first person on trail (as I like it) and having her to myself for over an hour. She never did quite give me the whole show and left me longing to return. Such a tease…
The next time, she was much more open. I could see for miles and miles. Sitting on the east summit, I could look over at middle and west Beckler and wonder what they were like.
Last year, I ventured up to see her in her more regal black & white formal wear. She doesn’t mess around with cornices and keeps you close to the center of the summit.
And then I returned last fall to visit her other side and look back at far we have come together. She really is a beauty.
Do you have a summit you love to do year round as to see all that it has to offer?
