Have you ever driven down the same road for 30 years and then one day you see the sign for something and think, “I’m going to check that out today”? This was one of those roads, one of those signs and one of those times. Check out my trip report from Lake Sylvia State Park and the 1.5 mile loop trail that circles the old mill pond that makes you feel like you are taking a step back in time to when women held parasols and men lay their coats down on puddles for them to walk on. Not that that happened in this case…I had to take my shoes off and get a little wet.
